Less handling, lower cost, better for the soil
Traditional vegetation clearance can involve several stages: cutting, collecting, loading and transporting green waste away from the site. This means more handling, more labour and additional transport costs.
Mulching simplifies the process. The vegetation is cut and shredded directly on site, usually in a single pass, leaving a layer of organic material on the ground. This reduces the need for removal and transport while returning organic matter to the soil, which can help support soil structure and moisture retention as the material breaks down.
For many brush-clearing projects, mulching can therefore be a faster and more cost-effective alternative to cutting and removing vegetation. It can also reduce the logistical burden and the amount of green waste leaving the site.
